Space Marine Land Raider Crusader/Redeemer A crusaders sponsons have 16" on the Redeemers with a large volume of fire that would mostly meet the Redeemers output considering the range, not to mention the Redeemer can't Overwatch a deepstrike with its sponsons. Redeemer is nice but I feel that trying to get close enough to use the sponson weapons is to close for comfort

Which one you want depends on what you want to do with it; if you've got an absurdly large Terminator squad, go ahead and run a Crusader, but remember that you've just painted "go ahead - 600+ points in one vehicle, blow me up" on it's side. Redeemer is superior in terms of firepower, the point of the Crusader is the ability to fit eight Terminators or fifteen Black Templars in it

The Eight Land Raider Variants Crusader, Redeemer, Excelsior, Achilles, Helios, Proteus. I prefer the crusader for its higher transport capacity, but redeemers are also cool Obviously it's a little more complecated than that.
